Privacy Policy

Oussama Mabrouk, an independent game developer based in Morocco, is the data controller for this website. I run it personally. There is no company, no team and no third party acting on my behalf.

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no contact form, no newsletter, no comment box and no account. No analytics or measurement tool is installed. No advertising or social media script runs here. The site sets no cookies of any kind, and it does not use browser storage to record anything about you.

The typefaces are served from this site’s own domain. They are bundled at build time rather than requested from a font service, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.

Like every website, this one is delivered by a server, and that server keeps standard access logs. Those logs typically record your IP address, the time of the request, which file was requested, your browser’s user-agent string, and the page that referred you.

I do not use these logs to build a profile of you, and I do not combine them with anything else. They exist so the host can keep the service running and deal with abuse or attacks. Hosting providers normally delete them automatically within a few weeks.

The games on this site are demo copies. Every advertising and portal SDK has been removed from them, so opening one makes no request to any third party and shows no ads.

Each game saves your progress, your unlocked items and your sound settings in your own browser, using local storage. That data never leaves your device, is never sent to me, and I cannot read it. Clearing your browser’s site data for this domain erases it.

The project cards on the home page play a short preview video when you point at them. The video is a file on this site; it is only downloaded when you hover, and nothing about that is recorded.

Builds of the same games published on gaming portals are a different matter. Those versions include the portal’s own advertising SDK, and that portal’s privacy policy governs them, not this one.

If you email me or message me on WhatsApp, I receive whatever you send: your name if you give it, your address or phone number, and the contents of your message.

I use it for one purpose, which is to reply and to carry on the conversation about work. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not pass your details to anyone else.

My email runs on Microsoft Outlook, and WhatsApp is operated by Meta. Messages you send me sit on their systems as well as mine, under their own privacy policies. If you would rather not use either, email is reachable from any provider you like.

I keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to two years afterwards in case the project comes back. Ask me to delete a thread and I will.

This site sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner and nothing for you to accept or refuse. If that changes, this page changes first.

For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation asks for a legal basis. There are two that apply here.

• Legitimate interests for server logs, which are needed to deliver the site securely and keep it available.
• Legitimate interests for replying to a message you chose to send, where answering you is plainly what you wanted.

In Morocco, the same processing falls under Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Nobody. I do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and there is no advertising network, data broker or analytics company involved in this site. The only parties that touch anything are the hosting provider that serves the pages and, if you write to me, the email or messaging service you chose to use.

I am based in Morocco, so a message you send me is read there. The hosting and messaging providers named above operate servers in several countries, including inside and outside the European Economic Area. Where those transfers involve personal data from the EEA or the UK, the providers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Whatever your location, you can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Under the GDPR you also have the right to restrict processing, to object to it, and to receive your data in a portable format.

Since the only thing I could possibly hold is a message you sent me, these requests are usually simple. Write to oussamamabroukk@hotmail.com and I will answer within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you think I have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority in the EEA or the UK, or to the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel in Morocco.

The game on this site is suitable for all ages and may well be played by children. That is fine, because nothing is collected from anyone, of any age. There is no account to create and no information to hand over.

If you are a parent and you believe a child has sent me personal information by email or WhatsApp, tell me and I will delete it.

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Since no personal data is collected or stored here, there is no database to breach and nothing on this site for an attacker to take. Messages you send me are protected by the security of the email or messaging service you used, and by the passwords and two-factor authentication on my own accounts.

If I add anything that changes the answers above, an analytics tool for instance, I will update this page and change the date at the top before that thing goes live. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is how you tell.
